This petrophile, precocious, creeping flowering shrub grows only in Dobrogea, on sunny rocks.

Note: This is the only native species of its genus growing in Romania.

Evergreen, diffuse shrub with lateral branches. Leaves linear, acute, at first ciliate, then glabrous. Inflorescence corymbose. Petals white, sometimes with magenta shades. Silicula winged.

Ciliate leaves. Leaves will soon become glabrous.

Alongside new branches, those from the previous year are still visible.

Petals sometimes with lighter or darker shades of magenta.

Broadly winged siliculae.
